MSBSVET, an autonomous body governed by Maharashtra State Government, provides courses in Vocational Education in various streams.
In a recently passed Government Regulation, (G.R No. VOC-2012/519), Maharashtra Government recognizes MSBSVET (Formerly known as MSBVE) Certification as equivalent of HSC and as “Alternate Qualification” to ITI Courses. This will make the students doing MSBSVET class XII at par with other students of HSC to take admission to Graduation / Degree Courses for any University in India.
As per G.R VOC – 2012/591/Q.No 245(B) 2 years Full Time Diploma in Auto Engg Technician (Course Code – 306402) is being recognised as “Alternate Qualification” for jobs to the ITI Courses such as :-
1) Mech Motor Vehicle – 2 years
2) Mech Diesel – 1 year
3) Mech Repair & Maintenance of 2 Wheeler – 6 months
4) Mech Repair & Maintenance Light Vehicle – 1 year
5) Mech Repair & Maintenance of Heavy Vehicle – 1 year
